Fendi Spring/Summer 2011 Collection

Fendi is “the burning summer of passion” – and today Karl Lagerfeld went about proving it by playing out a sophisticated Seventies theme in his show – styling his girls to look at first like blonde, innocent Timotei beauties (in white peasant dresses), and then later as yummy Seventies mummies in kimono dresses with lantern sleeves – bare backed in deep purple and emerald green – or A line seersucker skirts featuring optical prints in red and green.

"There are two things I like in life - what I haven't done yet and what I haven't witnessed," says Karl Lagerfeld referring to his inspiration for the Fendi spring/summer 2011 collection.
